The main objective of the course is to develop solid fundamental skills in handling pistols, rifles, and shotguns, as well as familiarization with safety measures when handling firearms. Firearms competency training course consists of three sub-courses (short barrel, long barrel, and shotgun) that can be taken separately/independently.

This course is designed to develop practical skills in the tactical use of handguns, reaction and speed. Exercises and teaching methods exclude any resemblance to sports shooting, the development of skills begins with basic idleness with gradual complication. The second part of the course is full of shooting exercises with different levels of difficulty. At the end of the course, elements of stress are added to bring the situation closer to reality. The course is built as a "base" for further training and development of the shooter.
